It is not the America so many individuals and families have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect and preserve. We watch as America drifts closer not only toward an autocratic state but a theocratic one as well. The line between church and state is disappearing. Even Christianity as practiced by so many is not the Matthew 5 and 25 that Jesus spoke about. Project 2025 has replaced Matthew 5/25 as the holy book in many Christian circles. Is there a way to reverse these disturbing trends or must we just let the so-called patriots and so-called Christians continue to corrupt that which is sacred? Let’s explore WWJS and WWJD. \nBio — At 83 Paul Robinson is continuing to wake up. He has been a student of life since beginning to wake up at the age of 17 when he started college. Being warned by his fundamentalist preacher not to listen to the more liberal college professors\, he was compelled to listen and to examine his beliefs. He has learned to listen to all points of view while sifting through them for the ones that are life affirming and rational. He loves all humanity and all life forms (except mosquitoes). He enjoyed a career in teaching and psychology for over fifty years. He continues to read and write and speak to groups. He grew up in rural Southeast Ohio in a family of ten children\, a family poor in material possessions but rich in love. He was blessed with a loving mother who along with the help of loving older brothers and sisters raised her children as a single parent at the death of his father when he was three. He loves sharing ideas with people and being challenged by their perspectives. DESCRIPTION:Come after the service to Sacred Stones Mystical Farm for a Family Spirits Celebration Potluck and Hungry Ghosts Ceremony.\nFamily Spirits Celebration Potluck and Hungry Ghost Ceremony\nSunday\, September 14\, 2025\nSacred Stone Mystical Farm\n1-4 pm\nPotluck starts at 1pm and Hungry Ghost Ceremony starts at 2pm\n\nFor the potluck\, bring food that a loving person who you would like to honor loved to eat\, a story\, song\, dance connected to that person. You are encouraged to honor a deceased person in your life who has continued to care for you and’/your family from the other side through After Death Communication (ADC). Our feast is to show gratitude and to care for that reality of enduring love in our lives. Love does not die. After death\, our relationships change shape and continue to evolve.\n\nThe potluck will be followed by a Hungry Ghost Ceremony for all people\, all times\, all places. In the film\, The Sixth Sense\, the character played by Bruce Willis is a typical Hungry Ghost. He is a person who does not know he is dead. Persons who die violently\, suddenly\, or young sometimes get confused and caught in a chronic loop of suffering. The Hungry Ghost or Wandering Soul\nCeremony originates with the Buddhist tradition. We join with the intention of waking them up from their confusion\, helping them remember who they are and inviting them to move to a better place. Chris Reynolds will share the Hungry Ghost Ceremony used by Warriors Journey Home in their peace and reconciliation pilgrimages to Vietnam and in the Witness Tree liturgy.
