SUMMARY:Cara Mia -- "Solstice Solace"
DESCRIPTION:Sunday Service — 10:30 a.m.\n\n  \nSpeaker: Cara Mia\nLeader: Hayley Young \nTitle: “Solstice Solace”\nTopic: The Wheel of Fortune card in the Tarot\, “Jera” from the Elder Futhark runic alphabet\, the Solar Wheel of the Year\, all are symbolic of the cycle of time\, the cycle of life\, death\, and rebirth. At the Summer Solstice on June 20\, the sun is at its height\, the peak of daylight hours and warmth here in the Northern Hemisphere. But in each moment we are aware of the full circle: in the Southern Hemisphere\, winter solstice approaches. As we are entering our longest days\, the other side of the planet readies for its longest nights. \n\nIn light there is also darkness. In darkness\, there is also light. This is the weight and promise of the Wheel. As it turns and we move up\, we know there will come a time when we move back downward. When we are down\, we can rely on the fact of an eventual return to the top. And so the Wheel turns….\n\n*Masks are requested in the building*\nCoffee and Water available after the service downstairs.\nFull Fellowship not available at this time.

SUMMARY:Mark Jordan - "Nature vs. Nurture: New Perspectives in the Ceely Rose Murders"
DESCRIPTION:Sunday Service — 10:30 a.m. \nSpeaker: Mark Sebastian Jordan \nLeader: Brian Moore \nTitle: “Nature vs. Nurture: New Perspectives in the Ceely Rose Murders” \nTopic: Mark Sebastian Jordan updates his latest research in the Ceely Rose murder cases to coincide with the publication of his book from The History Press. New finds include Ceely Rose’s relationship to another murderer\, executed in Ohio during the 1920’s which begs the question: Is this kind of madness innate or something caused by dysfunctional family/society? \nBio: Mark Sebastian Jordan has been an active presence on the Ohio arts scene for over thirty years as a writer\, actor\, director\, playwright\, and improv comedian. His Malabar Trilogy of historical dramas was featured in sell-out performances for a decade at Malabar Farm State Park.\nMark is a writer with numerous publication credits and awards\, and works as a freelance journalist for publications all over the world. He has written about classical music for numerous publications\, and currently reviews concerts for Seen & Heard International. Mark also gives music appreciation talks for the Mansfield Symphony.\nBook publications include The Book of Jobs\, 1776 & All That\, Murder Ballads: American Crime Poems\, and Slammer\, Private Dick. Mark also writes for the blog Voices from the Borderlands. Mark has also just been awarded a grant for individual excellence from the Ohio Arts Council in criticism for his reviews and essays.\nMark describes himself as a refugee of the corporate business world\, where he spent a decade in packaging purchasing. Finding himself compulsively writing and creating to escape the unfulfilling day job\, he fled when a corporate buyout ended his position. Since then\, he has only worked jobs that offer personal fulfillment and creativity. Starting in 2007\, Mark began publicly sharing his work as a poet and storyteller and since then has performed all over Ohio. \n*Masks are requested in the building*\nCoffee and Water available after the service downstairs.\nFull Fellowship not available at this time.

SUMMARY:Dr. Walter Kania -- "The Jesus Mystery!"
DESCRIPTION:Sunday Service- 10:30 a.m. \nSpeaker: Dr. Walter Kania\nLeader: Bambi Gordon\nTopic: “The Jesus Mystery!” \nAs a UU member you may have left concerns about Jesus a long time ago. You may have even rejected traditional Christianity and become a UU member because of the problems that you had with the person of Jesus and the promotion of false teachings about Jesus in the Christian religion beliefs and practices. After being in and speaking as a guest in 3 different. UU churches (Bellville\, Cleveland\, and Naples) I can honestly say that you don’t hear any conversation about the person or the name Jesus in those 3 places. And that is understandable. If\, however\, you are A Course In Miracles follower who is also a UU member you have to become clear about the beliefs and teachings of The Buddha\, the Hindus\, and Jesus and the commonalities that exist with regard to the genuine teachings of each Spiritual Path. You may be very surprised about who this Real Jesus is that is unknown to today’s traditional Christians. \n*Masks are requested in the building*\nCoffee and Water available after the service downstairs.\nFull Fellowship not available at this time.

SUMMARY:Christopher Reynolds -- Maya= Unconsciousness: How to Recognize Soul Recovery
DESCRIPTION:Sunday Service – 10:30 a.m. \nSpeaker: Christopher Reynolds\nLeader: Fonda Kendrick \nTitle: Maya= Unconsciousness: How to Recognize Soul Recovery\nTopic: The relationship between the consciousness and the unconscious is how we can approach the Eastern concept of Maya. As our rising of levels of perception or soul recovery increase\, we come to appreciate why C. G. Jung would say: Until you make the unconscious conscious\, it will direct your life and you will call it fate. \nIn Myths of Light\, Joseph Campbell writes: Remember that Maya has 3 powers. The first power is called the “obscuring power\,” which obscures the radiance of the ultimate. The second power is called the “projecting power\,” which projects the world of broken forms. The third power is said to be the “revealing power\,” which is the power rendered in art (ritual)\, when through the forms we experience the radiance. You can perceive exactly the same things either in their obscuring or in their revealing aspect\, depending on how far your levels of perception have risen. \nJoin Christopher Reynolds as he walks with us through the obscuring\, projecting\, and revealing levels of the unconscious in word\, story and song. Our goal is to know again the revealing radiance of this life where time and eternity merge. \nBio: F. Christopher Reynolds\, M.Ed.\, is a singer\, teacher and community shaman from Cleveland\, Ohio. His mission is to sing the dream of Peace on Earth onward through songs\, writings\, ritual\, healing concerts and workshops. He is a singer-songwriter with 20 original releases\, the lead author on the only publications on depth psychology\, soul\, creativity and giftedness\, and is also published in organic creativity in the language classroom. Chris is the founder of No Man’s Folk and Earthbriety. He is a co-founder of archetypal ecology. Mr. Reynolds is an adjunct professor in Art and Religious Studies at Ursuline College. He is an adjunct in Creativity Studies for the Gifted at Ashland University. He is a shaman in residence for Lake Erie Institute. He works with Warriors Journey Home of Tallmage\, Ohio\, to assist communities to welcome veterans home from military service.
