The gate is across the road from the trailer at 1009 Bangorville Rd. Bellville OH 44813\, so entering that into one’s maps app will probably be the easiest thing to do.  \nIt’s not supposed to rain\, so just park in rows in the grass inside the gate. We have a golf cart and will ferry anyone who’d find the 500-foot walk to the house a challenge. For most\, it’s slightly uphill\, but not so much that it is at all difficult.  \nA continental breakfast will be provided by the church board.\nPlease bring a chair or blanket to sit on. \nWe look forward to seeing you at this outdoor service. \nWe would like to thank Joan and Reed for opening up their home for this service. \nBio — Serving as our part-time parish minister\, he was ordained with us and has served us since 2015. Rev. Will is also the settled minister of East Shore UU Church. Rev Will is active with anti-racism work within Knox\, Richland\, and Wayne Counties and throughout the state; he works with the Heritage Universalist groups\, including the Universalist Convocation\, and Rev. Will is active within the Central East Region’s Summer Institute\, serving on the ministry/chaplain team for the past four years. It is time for us to begin to examine the whole perspective beyond what we know\, and to expand our own understanding. \nBio — In 2016 Ron founded his organization Mystic Spirit Presentations which serves to inform\, educate\, and inspire interested parties throughout Ohio and beyond. He is the past president of Merging Hearts Spiritual Center in Canton Ohio\, where he led numerous programs on topics pertaining to spiritual growth\, religious education\, and environmental education. \nRon attended and served his local UU congregation for over 20 years\, a twice past president of his local congregation\, and has spoken for numerous UU congregations and religious organizations over the years. He speaks on a variety of topics\, drawing from a diverse range of sources. He is a strong advocate for finding solutions for our current environmental issues\, and sees this as one of the most critical moral issues we are facing in our time. \nRon sees our values as UU’s lead us into a wider circle that eventually expands to include the entire planet. DESCRIPTION:Sunday Service — 10:30 a.m. \nLeader — Brian Moore \nSpeaker — Rainbow Eagle \nTitle — Master Jesus Teachings and Nature \nTopic — Rainbow Eagle will share some of the teachings of Jesus that refer to Mother Earth.  He and his “Walk-Beside” (wife Mary Rainbow Snake Woman) makes use of their 1074 footnoted book: “The Ancient Roots of Christianity: A Native American’s Look Through Christianity”.  The book will be available for only $10 and 2 for $15 and signed. \nBio — Rainbow Eagle a.k.a. Rolland J. Williston\, is a member of Okla-Choctaw Nation in Oklahoma.  He was honored to participate in the International UFO congress in 2011.  He taught overseas 47 times in the past 40 years.  A personal vision has been given to him by the Great Mystery through major ceremonies:\n#1.  To be in the midst of many native communities\, traditions\, and have a strong relationship with Mother Earth.\n#2.  To visit the indigenous Elders in order to recover as much of the ancient knowledge as possible.\n#3.  To conduct various ceremonies patterned after Elders and his personal vision.\n#4.  To share the teachings of an ancient Peace Shield drawing at this time of the 7th fire—“to help Earth Walkers to come into relationship with all life everywhere.” \nThis drawing was handed down to Rainbow Eagle in two winter visits with Erv Romans (PEN-NA-SHE of the Martin Clan) last of the Ontonagon Band of Ojibwe/Anishinabeg. His second book\, “Native American Spirituality:  A Walk in the Woods” includes teachings related to Natural Spirituality\, “Peace Shield” teachings and prophecies of both North and South America and spiritual guidance about getting ready for Cosmic Relationships. Will Humphrey \nTitle — Masks\, Identities and Belonging \nBio — Serving as our part-time parish minister\, he was ordained with us and has served us since 2015. Rev. Will is also the settled minister of East Shore UU Church. Rev Will is active with anti-racism work within Knox\, Richland\, and Wayne Counties and throughout the state; he works with the Heritage Universalist groups\, including the Universalist Convocation\, and Rev Will is active within the Central East Region’s Summer Institute\, serving on the ministry/chaplain team for the past four years. Passionate about liberation theological perspectives and eco-feminism\, Rev Will advocates for LGBTQ+ rights\, anti-racism and economic justice\, affirming the worth and dignity of each person\, fighting for justice\, equity\, and compassion in human relations. Joan Van Becelaere \nTitle — Four Wrongs Don’t Make A Right: The Moral Complexity of Israel and Palestine \nTopic — The situation in Israel and Palestine is\, to put it mildly\, a moral mess.  And in our very partisan society\, many of us are being urged to choose a side.  But the situation is more complex than we see on the news.  We also know that our Unitarian Universalist sixth Principle currently states  that we covenant to affirm and promote “the goal  of world community with peace\, liberty\, and justice for all;”   How do we promote this Principle\, how do we live into this goal when faced with a growing\, global dilemma? \nBio — Rev. Joan Van Becelaere is a retired Unitarian Universalist community minister living in Columbus\, Ohio. Prior to retirement\, she was the Executive Director of Unitarian Universalist Justice Ohio. Prior to her work with UU Justice Ohio\, Rev Van Becelaere was regional Lead with the Central East Region\, district executive for the old Ohio Meadville District\, vice president for student services at Iliff School of Theology in Denver CO\, and taught as an adjunct instructor in UU polity. Rev Joan currently serves on the board of the StoryTellers of Central Ohio and believes that effective story work can help us understand ourselves\, one another and change minds and hearts. \nShe is a member of the North Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Lewis Center\, Ohio.  She lives in Columbus with her spouse\, Jerry\, and four very active felines. \n  \nJoin us downstairs after service for coffee and conversation. \n*Masks are requested in the building*
