DESCRIPTION:Sunday Service — 10:30 a.m. \nLeader — Brian Moore \nSpeaker — Morah Nancy Shimer \nTitle — A Jewish View of the Hebrew Bible \nBio — Morah Nancy Shimer (morah simply means “teacher”) has been a Jewish educator\, administrator\, song leader\, and spiritual leader for 43 years. She has taught all ages\, from preschool to adult\, in congregations and in Jewish Community Centers throughout central and northeastern Ohio\, including in Columbus\, Akron\, Cleveland\, Youngstown\, Canton\, and Mansfield. She has also volunteered as the Jewish chaplain at the Marion Correctional Institution. Morah Nancy has served as the lay spiritual leader of Emanuel Jacob Congregation for 8 years\, and was the cantorial soloist and religious school teacher there for 11 years before that. \nJoin us downstairs after service for coffee and conversation. \nMasks are optional in the building\, and we fully support individuals’ choices regarding their use.
