In chapter 10\, The Myth of Er\, Socrates reminds us that human souls are immortal and we participate in the choosing of our lives. \nIn closing Socrates advises: “Wherefore my counsel is\, that we hold fast ever to the heavenly way and follow after justice and virtue always\, considering that the soul is immortal and able to endure every sort of good and every sort of evil.” \nAs we re-define American democracy together\, our souls’ innate resilience can help us evolve from a culture that holds fast to the heavenly way into a culture that holds fast to a sacred union of Heaven and Earth – a Way of Water. \nWhen human beings remember their Original Instructions\, there is a Heaven and It is spread upon the Earth. \nBio — F. Christopher Reynolds\, M.Ed\,\, is a singer\, teacher and alchemical shaman. His mission is Home-Making — to sing about\, to teach\, and to heal American culture’s sacred relationships with the lands\, ancestors\, peoples\, and stars. He is a singer-songwriter with 20 original albums.\nHe is the lead author on the only published papers on depth psychology\, giftedness\, soul\, and creativity.
