Elaine Strawn \nTitle — “A Few Home Truths” \nTopic — When my African American friends want to sort something out\, or call someone into account (including me sometimes) they would share a few Home Truths\, another version of speaking a deep truth.  It can be a healing thing.  This time of division in the world could also be a time of healing if we could share and receive a few Home Truths.  (The basis for these reflections comes from Isabel Wilkerson and the film “Origins”). \nBio — Rev. Dr. Elaine served as the settled minister in the UU Fellowship of Wayne County in Wooster for 23 years before semi-retiring. She now co-chairs the regional Commissioned Lay Ministry Council and offers Spiritual Direction to a wide variety of people. Walking\, gardening\, and tai chi keep her grounded and inspired. \nJoin us downstairs after service for coffee and conversation. \n*Masks are optional in the building\, and we fully support individuals’ choices regarding their use.*
