DESCRIPTION:Sunday Service — 10:30 a.m. \nLeader — Hayley Young \nSpeaker — Christopher Reynolds \nTitle — Remembrance of the 1914 Christmas Truce: It’s Our Turn Now \nTopic — Join Christopher Reynolds as he performs his\, Remembrance of the 1914 Christmas Truce: It’s Our Turn Now\, an account of a pilgrimage to No Man’s Land to renew the Spirit of Peace on Earth\, even among enemies.\nIn World War I\, enemy forces left the safety of the trenches on Christmas Eve\, 1914\, to sing\, to honor the dead\, to create peace and discover the meaning of Christmas together. In this further development of Chris Truce presentation last year\, you are invited to sing\, to pray\, and to let go of grief and anxiety. We do this during the darkest weeks of the year in expectation of new life\, light and peace. We bring a new life\, love\, warmth\, surprise and humor like a sacred fire from within. (This is also a preparation for the sacred fire later in the day\, if you would like to join in) \nNote: The Sacred Fire Ceremony will take place at Sacred Stones Mystical Farm following the service. Potluck Lunch at 1:00PM and the Ceremony will start at 2:00. More information to follow as the date approaches. \nFellowship has returned.
