Topic — Today is the third Sunday of Advent, and we celebrate the Advent Sunday of Joy with an expedition to ancient Persia to discover what Jalāl al-Dīn Muḥammad Rūmī can teach us about joy and being fearless in the face of the unknown. This is no caravan of despair! Come aboard!!
Bio — Wendy Bartlett is a Quaker who was raised in–and rejoices in– Unitarian Universalist spaces. She graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from the Unitarian Universalist House of Studies at MTSO. Wendy lives in Fairlawn, Ohio with her grown-up son, Evan, and her grandcat, Lucy Victoria.
