Topic — November 10th marks the 87th anniversary of Kristallnacht, or “The Night of Glass” so named because of all the broken shop windows in a single night of terror and murder by Nazi troops in Germany. We’ll talk about antisemitism’s return, and how UUs can respond and help our Jewish members, relatives, neighbors, and friends.
Bio — Wendy Bartlett is a Quaker who was raised in, and rejoices in, Unitarian Universalist spaces. Wendy graduated from the Unitarian Universalist House of Studies with a Master of Divinity degree in 2021. She is involved with social justice issues including anti-racism and LGBTQ concerns. She lives with her grown-up son and a grandcat, Lucy Victoria, in Fairlawn, Ohio.
