Topic — Summer is a great time to spend on the porch reading novels. And a great time to perfect the latest guacamole recipe. It’s also a good time to do something we don’t do very often — spend an afternoon in the sunshine thinking a bit about our lives and our spiritual journey.
Bio — Rev. Joan Van Becelaere is a retired Unitarian Universalist community minister. Prior to retirement, she was the Executive Director of Unitarian Universalist Justice Ohio. She has also served as regional Lead with the Central East Region, district executive for the old Ohio Meadville District,, vice president for student services at Iliff School of Theology in Denver CO. She has a long standing interest in politics and has a masters of public administration and policy analysis from CU Denver..
She is a member of the North Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Lewis Center, Ohio. Rev Joan lives in Waverly Ohio with her spouse Jerry and three lovely felines.
