Morgan Patten — Found in Translation

Sunday Service — 10:30 a.m.

Leader —Margaret Lin

Speaker — Morgan Patten

Title — Found in Translation

Topic — Translation is more than swapping words in one language for those in another. It is the art of carrying meaning across experience, culture, time, and belief. In a pluralistic faith like ours, we are always “translating” as we listen across theological differences with curiosity and care. Morgan Patten explores translation both as the literal movement between languages and as a spiritual practice of bridging theologies with connection and humility.

Bio — Morgan Patten serves as a Director of Religious Exploration at North UU Congregation in Central Ohio and is a candidate for UU ministry. She is also an author of the new Woven Faith curriculum for the Unitarian Universalist Association. Morgan is passionate about multigenerational ministry and faith formation for people of all ages.
