Mark Sebastian Jordan dives into popular culture, literature, and scientific sources to examine the issues of violence, infighting, and bullying, why we have trouble controlling them, and what it is we’re trying to reach beyond the turmoil.

Bio — Mark Sebastian Jordan is a writer based in the central highlands region of Ohio. He has won awards from the Ohio Arts Council, the Jesse Stuart Memorial Prize, the Ohio Theatre Alliance, the Associated Press, and more. He is the author of several books, including In These Haunted Hills, published in the fall of 2025. His next historical true crime study, The Maplehurst Murder, comes out from The History Press in March of 2026.
