Topic — Jacquie examines how privilege changes when circumstances change. The illusion that we are “more than” or “better than” can disappear in an instant when all of the trappings of privilege are removed.
Bio — Jacquie Zarley is a nonbinary, queer person. They graduated from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio in 2020 and is a candidate in the UU fellowshipping process. Having recently completed a year-long internship At North Unitarian Universalist Church, they will be finishing up the final steps toward fellowship and ultimately ordination in 2024. They live with their partner of 28 years in Wadsworth. They have a dog, two cats and a weird little cactus plant that has miraculously walked the line between life and death for three years.
