Hayley Young — Nurturing: A Job With No Instructions

May 10 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Sunday Service — 10:30 a.m.

Leader — Margaret Lin

Speaker — Hayley Young

TitleNurturing: A Job With No Instructions

Topic — Hayley Young, 9-year-old Sam Young, and a very curious puppet named Jeffery explore what nurturing really looks like—honest, imperfect, and shared by all of us. A multigenerational service full of humor, insight, and heart.

Bio —Hayley Young has been a member of All Souls UU Church for 12 years and serves on the Pulpit Team. In past speaking opportunities at the church, she has shared reflections that weave Unitarian Universalist themes with pop culture, including talks on The Beatles and Disney, as well as deeper explorations of reciprocity, mindfulness, spirituality, and beloved community. She is excited to share the pulpit with Sam today.

Sam Young is a 3rd grade student at Bellville Elementary. Raised in the church, he loves being a part of services and speaking at the pulpit.  Outside of school, he enjoys swimming,  building with Legos, drawing, and playing games.

Join us downstairs after service for coffee and conversation.

Masks are optional in the building, and we fully support individuals’ choices regarding their use.
