Dr. Paul Robinson — Mending at the Broken Places

July 6 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Sunday Service — 10:30 a.m.

Leader — Reed Richmond

Speaker — Dr. Paul Robinson

Title — Mending at the Broken Places

Topic — Ernest Hemingway wrote, “Life breaks us all. The strong mend at the broken places.” Virtually all of us face tragedy from time to time in our lives. It could be a death, a diagnosis of a life-threatening medical problem, a divorce, or, God forbid, a tragedy that hits one of our children. How we face and deal with that tragic event can make all the difference in the world for the rest of our lives. Paul will talk about how he approaches tragedy and what he has found that works for others.

Bio — Dr. Paul Robinson is a retired psychologist and NCSC professor where he taught for 24 years. He also was on the faculty at Oberlin College before moving back to the Mansfield area some 45 years ago. He was an avid bicyclist, skier, swimmer, and hiker in his younger days. Now he works a small garden and tends to his property on Possum Run Road along with his wife of 64 years while still enjoying being with Mother Nature.
