Title — American Soul News
Topic — The Warriors Journey Home and Kent State May 4 Visitors Center are offering a Witness Tree Liturgy at the May 4 National Historic Landmark Site, November 1-11. This event marks a deep transformation of American Culture. For 11 days, 22 dog tags are hung on the Witness Tree to recognize the 22 veterans a day who commit suicide. The solemnity of the sacred space over 11 days opens new pathways for healing and renewal. Long-neglected conversations about the future we wish for our children and grandchildren become possible.
