Bio — Aurelio Diaz is a Texas native but has lived in Mansfield since he was a child. He is a Mansfield Senior High graduate and the owner of La LUNA, a downtown cultural space that showcases local music and art and provides a convening space for many advocacy groups.
Aurelio is a proud member of Mansfield Rising, the Richland County Coalition on Housing & Homelessness, the Richland County Youth Substance Use Coalition, the NAACP, the Richland County Regional Planning Commission, the Homeless Response Task Force, and Hispanos Unidos de Mansfield. He also serves on the boards of NAMI, the YMCA of North Central Ohio, and UMADAOP.
Aurelio is honored to serve a second term as the 5th Ward representative on Mansfield City Council and is proud to be the first Hispanic and Independent member of Mansfield City Council.
