Dinner Book Discussion: Women, Race & Class by Angela Y. Davis

Margaret will be leading a dinner book discussion on Angela Y. Davis’s thought-provoking book, Women, Race & Class. Multiple copies are available at the Mansfield Richland County Public Library.

Please make sure to read the book before our meeting.  Our discussion will offer a chance to share a meal and explore the book’s insights. Women, Race and Class is a 1981 book by the American academic and author Angela Davis. It contains Marxist feminist analysis of gender, race and class. The third book written by Davis, it covers U.S. history from the slave trade and abolitionism movements to the women’s liberation movements which began in the 1960s
