Title: Maya= Unconsciousness: How to Recognize Soul Recovery
Topic: The relationship between the consciousness and the unconscious is how we can approach the Eastern concept of Maya. As our rising of levels of perception or soul recovery increase, we come to appreciate why C. G. Jung would say: Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.

In Myths of Light, Joseph Campbell writes: Remember that Maya has 3 powers. The first power is called the “obscuring power,” which obscures the radiance of the ultimate. The second power is called the “projecting power,” which projects the world of broken forms. The third power is said to be the “revealing power,” which is the power rendered in art (ritual), when through the forms we experience the radiance. You can perceive exactly the same things either in their obscuring or in their revealing aspect, depending on how far your levels of perception have risen.

Join Christopher Reynolds as he walks with us through the obscuring, projecting, and revealing levels of the unconscious in word, story and song. Our goal is to know again the revealing radiance of this life where time and eternity merge.
